Merry Marty ain't so herc after all

I got this from Beggars All.

This UK Times news is predicting that Pope B16 will probably declare the Holy Heretic St. Martin Luther ain't a heretic after all. So we could be seing an example of one Pope undoing what another Pope has done.

I bet ya the popesters in Concordia land will be so happy at this it will bring tears in their eyes. O how sweet, Il Papa finally saw the light, let's all go home. Look how fair and reasonable he is. If he signs the BoC, I will reconsider my opinion of him, but until that happens...I say to the cryptos, no deal (and I spit on their gravy too).

Look, folks, you do not get extra credit for stating the obvious. In Maths, we call this - trivial.

Historians have been saying Merry Marty was not a herc all along.

Look, it is like the physicists of today who are now dwelling on theology. May be one day, they might come out and say "oh, we are convince of this - a personal God created everything".

What are we going to do when this happens? Give them a medal? The reward for an ass who stops being an ass is its own reward - freedom from being an ass.

I hope this, if it happens, doesn't lead to calls for closer ties.

I don't wanna be a Kathlic.

Look D.P. if you listen to some Lutherans somewhere they say you are already one.

So what is the plural of that -- kathlix, no?

The middle o gets left out in conversational American English too!

I really prefer Spanish, however, in my dialect we leave out the final s on plurals and elide middle syllables all the time too.

If Rome repents, what is wrong with that?

I don't think anyone needs to get all excited thinking Rome will repent, though, they'll just go through another doctrinal development, deeper understanding, aggiornamento or some such revisionist sleight of hand and proclaim themselves the real Lutherans too. Look at the worthless Joint Declaration, not fit to line a bird cage.

The Roman Church believes in nothing but itself, which belief is the source of their belief in Christ, Scripture and anything else including the stuff they still got right -- the whole deal is bought because it's Rome who's selling it. They remain nothing more than the state religion of the Western Roman Empire trying from age to age to justify their existence after the state whose religion they were passed into history.

We, on the other hand, need to not confuse not being Catholic with not being catholic and quit removing from our churches what is catholic thinking it ensures we are not Catholic.

Yes, I did notice whenever I am in US that the Latinos there drop the 's' in plurals. Also I do not hear the 'th' for 'ci' in say 'negociacion'. Have you heard of the writings of our national hero - Jose Rizal (I think the 'th' gets in the 'z')? You will enjoy it specially his "Mi ultimo Adios". It is a very moving poem but you get to feel it only when read in Spanish. You will enjoy it since you have a love for the Indios in USA.

I agree, no one needs to get excited, the same way I won't get excited when these physicists confirm the existence of our God our heavenly Father.

We have been telling them that for years. We already moved on from there.
