In fact, he believes it and he trembles.

The Son of God is no despot who just wants Glory for himself. This King is different, he dies for his slaves/servants - he dies for his people - sinners. It won't amount to anything to believe Jesus is Lord if we do not believe he did something for us. The reason why he is Lord is because He is the Lord who Saves - dies for his subjects. He died for us that is why we freely proclaim he is Lord of ALL.LPChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11352627830833515548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15967712.post-1142289858695893742006-03-14T09:44:00.000+11:002006-03-14T09:44:00.000+11:00Consider the apostle Paul's words in 1 Cor 12 espe...Consider the apostle Paul's words in 1 Cor 12 especailly verse 3. Yes, the chapter is about gifts and all what ministry appears - but try reading his admonitions to the Corinth church in chapters 14 and again 12; and finally settle again on 12:3 and read chapter 13 again. If one proclaims "Jesus is Lord", let him be a person of grace and have love. And in Jesus' words - "by this they'll know Me, if you have love for one another." What all religious churches do and not do or excessively do or add to or whatever, are all "trash" anyway. At the end of the day, God is in charge and Jesus is Lord, He rules. And the Holy Spirit continues to live in people's lives as the Spirit chooses. Aaah, to be chosen, that's an amazing thing. Yes, Jesus is Lord, and everything here (all creation) are all still God's. Yep, at the end of the day, it's still His call and all we can do is be thankful, be a people of grace, and truly proclaim Jesus is Lord in the way we live.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
